Restoration

Marc Louwers restores books he has owned since childhood (comics, etc.) or inherited from his parents.

He breathes new life into these works and applies the principles of restoration as much as possible, respecting the historical history of the book and the principle of reversibility of restoration.

Marc Louwers has given a new lease of life to the first 69 issues of Bessy that he had owned since his childhood.

The spines of his Blake & Mortimer comic books have been repaired or remade, depending on the book.

The first 5 "Gaston" comic books have been repaired/restored.

Some old Tintin albums have been restored.

The dust jacket of this mathematics book by Boris Demidovich has been fully restored so that it can once again cover this work which accompanied Marc Louwers during his first two years at university.

This book about Paul Hymans was given to Marc Louwers for his 21st birthday by a friend of the Belgian politician. The numbered edition includes several original letters, engravings, and other items.

The binding has been completely redone, incorporating the book's dust jacket, which was in better condition than the text itself.

Marc Louwers discovered the dedication in this book by Saint-Exupéry after the death of his parents.

The cover has been lined and restored, giving a new look to this otherwise classic Gallimard edition.
